Why us
Built for the parent, not the player.
Almost every Minecraft host is built for the child who wants the server. Pricing is quoted in gigabytes, setup assumes you know what a port is, and the safety settings sit behind a login your child ends up controlling. We built this the other way around.
The alternatives
What parents try first.
A standard host, a Realm, or a public server. Here is how each one handles the questions that matter to a parent.
| What is being compared | Guarded Servers | Standard host | Realms | Public server |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who controls access | You, from your account | Anyone with panel access | The world owner | No one in particular |
| Admin panel your child could reach | None | Yes | Limited | Controlled by others |
| Setup | Under two minutes | Ports, configs, files | Quick | None |
| Java and Bedrock together | Included | You configure it | One at a time | Varies |
| Backups you can restore | Nightly, seven days kept | Usually costs extra | Recent only | None |
| Strangers can join | Never | If misconfigured | No | By design |
What is not here
We removed the server controls on purpose.
A control panel your child can reach is a safety setting your child can switch off. There is nothing on the server for anyone to reach, and the settings that matter are stored in your account instead.
You are the only person who can approve a player, and you can do it from your phone.
- No file manager
- No server console
- No version picker
- No port forwarding
- No public server listing
- No login for your child
How we decide
Three rules we build to.
The person paying controls the account
Approvals, playtime and world settings are stored in your account. Your child does not have an account, so there is nothing for them to sign in to.
Fewer options, on purpose
One version, one server size, and a short list of world types. Everything we leave out is something that cannot break, cannot be misconfigured and cannot become a support request.
Commands are for playing, not permissions
With commands on, your child can change the weather, fly and build quickly. None of this affects who is approved, because that list is not stored in the game.
